BrandJet AI is built for teams. You can invite teammates to share the same brand, divide up the reply queue in Unibox, share campaigns and lead lists, and let different people handle different channels. This article covers how invites work, the roles you can assign, and how to fix common invite errors.
If you are working alone, you can skip this article. If you have a team or you are running multiple brands for clients, read on.
Invite a teammate
Open Settings, then click Team.
Click Invite teammate.
Enter their email address.
Pick a role.
Pick which brands the invite gives them access to. By default, an invite gives access to the brand you are currently in.
Click Send invite.
Your teammate receives an email with a link. Clicking the link takes them to signup. If they already have a BrandJet AI account on that email, the link adds them to your team instead of creating a new account.
The invite is pending until they accept. You can see pending invites at the top of the Team screen and resend or cancel them from there.
The roles
There are three roles. Each one comes with a fixed set of permissions that match the typical responsibilities at a small or growing GTM team.
Admin. Can do everything. Manage billing, invite and remove teammates, change brand settings, connect and disconnect accounts, create and delete campaigns, send replies, edit lead data, and view every report. This is the role for the person who owns the team account.
Member. Can do most of the day to day work. Create and edit campaigns, send replies in Unibox, upload and edit lead lists, and run Lead Finder searches. Cannot manage billing, cannot invite teammates, and cannot change brand level settings. This is the right role for SDRs, account managers, and operators.
Viewer. Read only. Can browse campaigns, see reply threads, look at analytics, and see the team. Cannot reply or change anything. This is the right role for stakeholders who want to see what is happening but do not run the outreach themselves.
You can change a teammate role at any time from the Team screen.
Cross brand access
If you have more than one brand, the team page also shows you which teammates can access which brand. By default, an invite gives the teammate access only to the brand you are sitting in when you invite them. If you want them to see all brands, edit the teammate after they accept and check the boxes for the extra brands.
A common pattern for agencies: the owner is Admin on every brand, each account manager is Member on the brands assigned to them and not the others, and stakeholders are Viewer on the brands they care about.
Why the invite might fail
A few situations cause invite errors.
Invite fails with an error and the teammate cannot sign up. Usually this happens because the email you invited already has a BrandJet AI account on a different team. Ask your teammate to sign in with that email first to confirm. If they do not want to use the existing account, they need to use a different email, or remove themselves from the existing team and accept the new invite.
No invite email received. Check spam at the teammate end first. If still missing, copy the invite link from the Team screen (there is a Copy invite link button next to the pending invite) and send it to them directly. The link is valid for fourteen days.
Invite says expired. Pending invites expire after fourteen days. Open the pending invite on the Team screen and click Resend. The teammate gets a fresh email with a new link.
Teammate signed up but cannot see the brand. They accepted the invite with a different email than the one you invited. Remove the invite, ask them which email they used to sign up, then resend the invite to that email.
Slack community
Outside the product, we run a Slack community for customers. The community is a good place to swap tactics, see what other teams are doing, and chat with the team. To join, click the Slack community link in the help center footer.
The Slack join flow uses Google or Microsoft single sign on. A few users have run into a flow that asks for a brandjet.ai email address. That is a Slack workspace configuration quirk that we are actively working around. If you hit it, send your work email and Slack workspace name to support and we will send you a direct invite to the BrandJet customers channel.
Remove or pause a teammate
Open Settings, then click Team.
Find the teammate.
For temporary access removal, click Pause. The teammate cannot log in until you unpause them. They are still on the team.
For permanent removal, click Remove. They lose access immediately. Their reply assignments and notes stay attached to the conversations.
If a teammate leaves the company, the safe pattern is Pause first while you reassign their conversations, then Remove once everything is handed off.
What to do next
You have reached the end of the Quickstart. Your brand is created, accounts are connected, domains are warmed, leads are loaded, your first campaign is live, replies are flowing into Unibox, Artemis is helping, billing is set, and your team is in. From here, dig into the channel specific collections (Email, LinkedIn, Brand Monitoring, AI Agents) to get more out of each part of the product. If you are stuck on anything, open a ticket from inside the app and we will help.
