LinkedIn is the most powerful social channel inside BrandJet AI, but it is also the strictest. To stay under the radar of LinkedIn anti-automation systems, BrandJet runs each LinkedIn account from a dedicated residential session that mirrors the way you log in from your browser.
How to connect a LinkedIn account
Open Accounts → Social and click Connect LinkedIn.
Choose Cookie (recommended) or Username and password.
If you chose cookie, paste your
li_atvalue from a logged-in LinkedIn tab. If you chose username and password, enter the credentials you use on linkedin.com and complete the verification challenge when prompted.Pick a country for the session. BrandJet assigns a residential proxy in that country so all activity looks like it is coming from one consistent location.
Wait for the session to validate. A green dot means the account is healthy and ready to use in campaigns.
Invalid credentials — what it really means
LinkedIn returns this error in three different situations. The fix depends on which one you are seeing.
1. The session cookie expired
LinkedIn cookies are valid for around 30 days. After that you will see invalid credentials even though your password has not changed.
Open Accounts → Social, click the affected LinkedIn account, and choose Reconnect.
Open linkedin.com in your browser, copy the new
li_atcookie, and paste it in.
2. LinkedIn requires a verification challenge
This typically happens after you change networks, log in from a new device, or trigger LinkedIn risk system.
Open linkedin.com from the same network you normally use.
Complete any email or phone verification LinkedIn asks for.
Then reconnect in BrandJet using a fresh cookie.
3. Proxy or country mismatch
If you usually log in from country A but the BrandJet session is in country B, LinkedIn flags the session as suspicious.
When reconnecting, choose the country you actually use LinkedIn from.
Avoid logging into the same LinkedIn account from a VPN at the same time the BrandJet session is active.
Best practices
Use a real, established LinkedIn profile — brand-new accounts get restricted fast.
Start campaigns gradually. BrandJet auto-ramps daily limits over the first two weeks.
Do not reconnect from a different country than your usual one.
If you got a temporary restriction from LinkedIn, wait it out before reconnecting and reduce daily volume by 50 percent afterwards.
Still stuck?
If the account still shows invalid credentials after a fresh cookie and country match, open a support ticket and include the LinkedIn profile URL plus the error timestamp. We can pull session logs and tell you exactly which step failed.
